Below is a letter followed by pictures of a recent mission trip from Mikala Deffenbaugh

The pictures shown below were provided by Debbie West from the LaPalma Mission Trip 2015

LaPalma, Chatelenango, El Salvador

These LaPalma church ladies “graduated” from a sewing class.  They made their dresses they are wearing from donated material. This was their final product.  They were taught by the lady on the left and another lady with sewing machines donated by different churches.  This gives them opportunity to sew and earn money for their family.

The children from the school raised a garden this year.  Kristi Burns, a missionary from Tennessee, spent a year teaching English and  Horticulture and being a friend to all.  She taught them how to grow their own food.  These children are now reaping the benefits.  They have never seen this from a seed to the cob.  Most have never eaten corn on the cob.
